Pruett, Rojas Win Visual Studio Ultimate Grand Prix Of Atlanta

BRASELTON, Ga. (April 20, 2013) – Scott Pruett and Memo Rojas put their experience to work Saturday, scoring a dominant victory in the Visual Studio Ultimate Grand Prix of Atlanta, the first GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series race at Road Atlanta.

Pruett recorded one of the first victories of his storied career at the circuit in 1986 – winning an IMSA Camel GTO race – in addition to winning in SCCA Trans-Am.

Evander Holyfield has been named the Grand Marshal for Saturday's Visual Studio Ultimate Grand Prix of Atlanta.

Boxing's sole five-time world heavyweight champion will give the command to start the engines for Round 4 of the 2013 GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series race on Saturday, at 4:30 p.m. ET (SPEED, live), for GRAND-AM Road Racing's inaugural race at Road Atlanta in Braselton, Ga.

Georgia GRAND-AM Connections – A Fan’s Perspective

This left me with a bit of a dilemma on what exactly to focus on for this blog post.  After giving it some thought I figured I would concentrate on the drivers that live here in Georgia.  There are four drivers competing in the Rolex series that currently call Georgia home.  Here’s a quick look at each:
