Electric Vehicle Performance Corral Presented by Jackson EMC To Be Offered at Motul Petit Le Mans

For the second year in a row, Jackson Electric Membership Corporation (EMC) and Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta have partnered to create the Electric Vehicle Performance Corral presented by Jackson EMC at Motul Petit Le Mans, Nov. 10-13.  

The 24^th Annual Motul Petit Le Mans race week’s highlight is the world-renowned IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship 10-hour sportscar endurance race, but the event also showcases car corrals from various global automotive manufacturers. With support from many different automotive and energy groups, this year’s event will once again feature an all-electric car corral, made available to the public.

Included as part of the Electric Vehicle Performance Corral presented by Jackson EMC package is access for owners to park their electric vehicles in a prime location in the Michelin Raceway infield, plug vehicles into mobile charging stations, and socialize with other electric vehicle owners.

“Jackson Electric Membership Corporation is proud to present the Second Annual EV Corral at the 2021 Motul Petit Le Mans,” said Tate O’Rourke, business development manager for Jackson EMC. “In coordination with Georgia Public Service Commissioner Tim Echols, the EV Corral aims to provide opportunities for other EV owners to gather and to educate spectators about electric vehicles beyond the racetrack. The 24^th Annual Motul Petit Le Mans endurance classic kicks off Wednesday, Nov. 10 and culminates with the 10-hour IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship season finale starting at 10:10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 13.
